Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of River of Life Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own communities, and spreads to every nation.

Mission Outreach

ROL is thrilled to be part of the spread of the Gospel message around the world. We are active in supporting missionaries with our monetary and prayer support.

The usher team at River of Life Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life. If you are interested in participating as an usher or greeter, please see Pastor Tom, Barbara, Pastor Steve, or Margaret.

Media & Technology

In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes.  We maintain a website, an active Facebook feed for additional church communication, Twitter, and Instagram. We will soon stream video and audio versions of our services on YouTube, Facebook, and other outlets. If you are interested in helping the Audio/Visual Team, please see Todd Compton in our Sound Room.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. River of Life is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each week, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. The team prays for their pastor, church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Please see Margaret O’Bryant for more information if you want to participate in intercessory prayer.

In order to give our members and visitors the best worship experience, River of Life has a nursery available during Sunday Morning services. This special time gives kids the opportunity for learning in a manner that may be better suited to their age group and learning styles. The nursery also provides parents an opportunity to focus on worship and the Word during the service.

It takes a village to raise a ….. Oh wait, that’s something else. It does take a team to keep our church clean. We keep our church clean by utilizing teams that clean about once per month. If you are interested in participating on a cleaning team, please see Barbara.
